What's new update from Alex W Fraser, Glengarrycounty.com

There has been behind the scenes catch up  on projects, including this Gravestones of Glengarry 1976 - 2014 Summary.

I have updated Gravestones of Glengarry Vol. 5 Kirk Hill with an copy of the inscriptions done by Mrs Beaton of Ottawa, ca 1980 for St Columba Presbyterian Cemetery.  Volume 14 Lonely Stones had some additions as well, the Dixon Baptist cemetery and a copy of Clark Barrett's work on the Sixth Concession/Lodi Cemetery Roxborough and the Tayside cemetery Sandringham. The index for these additions are also included in the respective works.

More behind the scenes work has been done in sorting out some files, updating the MacDonalds of Loupe, Lundie & Fraser Connections which is now over 29,000 entries.

We have also been busy these past 6 months or so in sorting out the Quinn Family from Curry Hill Ontario & St Anicet Quebec area along with some Podevins and McGarry's which ended up as 3 volumes of results.

  2. Hi James, Thanks for the comment, You raised a very good question. Being vague on your query makes it hard to know who exactly you are looking for. In a quick look over of about 60,000 name index I found 1 reference to the name McCarroll. Were your McCarroll's ever in the Glengarry County area of Ontario. Take care and God Bless Alex W Fraser jars924 @ me.com
